Foreword

According to the requirements of the Document JIANBIAO〔2009〕No.88 issued by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development（MOHURD）-"Notice on Printing and Distributing the Development and Revision Plan of National Engineering Construction Standards in 2009"，this code is formulated on the basis of YD/T 5175-2009，"Acceptance Specification of Engineering for Lightning Protection and Earthing for Telecommunication Bureaus（Stations）"，issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People s Republic of China，through investigation and study，practical experience summarization，and wide opinion soliciting by the drafting team.

Main contents include general provisions，terms，basic requirements，earth-termination system，direct stroke protection system，equipotential bonding，earthing and protection of cables，surge protective device，acceptance and appendixes.

The provisions printed in bold type are compulsory ones and must be enforced strictly.

The Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development is in charge of the administration and the explanation of the compulsory provisions.The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology is in charge of the routine management.China International Telecommunication Construction Corporation is responsible for the explanation of specific technical contents.Shall there be any need of changing or supplementing during its implementation，please send comments or recommendations to China International Telecommunication Construction Corporation（Address:No.A56 Nanfangzhuang，Fengtai District，Beijing；100079）.
